C2C Mountain Bike Routes

Nothing beats the sense of achievement having cycled from one coast of a country to the other coast. And there aren't many countries in the world where taking on a coast to coast cycling holiday or C2C mountain biking tour may only take a few days of biking. That's why we're so passionate about our range of coast to coast mountain biking routes, that explore the most remote areas of the UK. We offer coast to coast routes in England, Scotland and Wales, which are suitable for anyone, from recreational off-road riders to expert mountain bikers looking for an endurance challenge.

Highland Coast to Coast

This mountain biking tour is based on one of our original coast to coast mountain biking routes and has stood the test of time. We first researched this biking route over 15 years ago and since then, we have spent many days biking along the tracks and trails in the Scottish Highlands and finding extra sections of trial to add to the Highland coast to coast experience. Beginning in Fort William and finishing in Stonehaven, the trails on this fantastic cycling tour can be rocky and technical, and some of the climbs are challenging, but the Highland scenery, fresh air and nature make the experience truly unforgettable!

Wainwright's C2C

Starting on the North West coast of England and finishing on the Yorkshire coast, this incredible, adventurous mountain biking tour traverses the Northern Pennines and no less then three National Parks between beautiful coasts of England. The trails vary a great deal, from smooth cycle paths to rocky, technical singletrack and everything in between so an intermediate level of mountain biking expertise and fitness is required to get the most out of this epic coast to coast mountain biking route.

Traws Eryri (Trans-Snowdonia)

If you're looking for a coast to coast mountain biking tour in Wales, then look no further! The Traws Eryri biking tour isn't strictly speaking a coast to coast route but it starts on the west coast of Wales and finishes on the north coast in the beautiful seaside town of Llandudno and travels through the stunning Snowdonia National Park. When we first rode this route, five years ago, we fell in love with the scenery, the culture and of course the fantastic mountain biking that Northern Wales has to offer. This coast to coast route is perfect for fit mountain bikers who prefer cross-country biased trails that aren't very technical, although there are options to ride purpose-built singletrack trails along the route.
