As part of our job, we're constantly looking out for tracks, trails and cycle paths that we might be able to incorporate into our ever-expanding and inspiring list of gravel biking tours, cycle touring routes and MTB holidays. Having spied a small weather window this week, we packed up our hardtail mountain bikes and headed to the Scottish Highland town of Callander, gateway to the stunning Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in Central Scotland. Callander is famed for being a fabulous base from which to explore the surrounding mountains, rivers, forests, glens and lochs on gravel bike, road bike or mountain bike, with really incredible cycling infrastructure including National Cycle Network route number 7 and the Rob Roy Way Biking route, not to mention the miles of fantastic mountain biking trails that criss-cross the nearby Highland hills and mountains.
We were lucky enough to discover some absolutely glorious trails in this special region of Scotland, which we'll be able to offer you as part of a new Highland Perthshire easy MTB or gravel biking tour.
Why not have a look at our exciting range of gravel biking holidays and mountain bike tours, with routes covering some of the most remote regions of Scotland, England and Wales? If you see any biking route that piques your interest, get in touch and we'll be able to meticulously plan the perfect biking holiday for you and your cycling buddies!
