In October we took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather to explore the amazing Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri (Snowdonia National Park) in Wales and follow the brand new Traws Eryri C2C off-road cycling route which traverses the region following purpose-built cycle paths, forestry tracks, deserted country roads and remote farm tracks. We were blown away by the stunning mountain scenery, with the route passing through some of north Wales' most iconic wilderness areas. With 125 miles of fabulous cycling and including almost 4500 metres of climbing, this route is challenging without being particularly technical so it is suitable for fit cyclists who'd prefer not to bike on tricky red or black-graded trails.
It was such a fabulous coast to coast biking route that we simply had to add it to our ever-expanding list of mountain bike and gravel bike routes. So we can now offer bespoke biking holidays along this C2C cycling route through Wales, including transport for you and your bikes from one end of the route to the other, hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation in picturesque, quirky towns and villages along the route, luggage transfers between your accommodation each day of your cycling tour, maps, gps files and detailed route information. Check out more details about this fabulous mountain biking tour in Wales on our webpage here.
If you're looking for an off-road biking tour from coast to coast through less-visited areas of Wales' Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri including the gorgeous Mawddach Estuary, Coed y Brenin and Gwydir forests and eerie remains of North Wales’ slate mining heritage, get in touch with us and we'll be delighted to organise your perfect C2C biking holiday in Wales. It's destined to become an absolute classic off-road cycling route!
